Fair and transparent

Refund policy.

This policy explains the difference between releasing campaign funds back to a CollabLovin wallet and refunding a payment to its original payment method.

Version 1.0 Effective 18 September 2026
₹
The important distinction

Campaign funding is normally reserved from a business’s CollabLovin wallet. If eligible unused funding is released after cancellation, it becomes available in that wallet again. That is not automatically a refund to the card, bank account, UPI method, or other payment method originally used to add funds.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to payments made to CollabLovin, business wallet funds, campaign funding, and creator settlement through the Services. Campaign-specific terms may add conditions. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Wallet funds and reservations

A successfully verified top-up adds funds to the applicable CollabLovin wallet. When a campaign is funded, some or all of those funds may be reserved for accepted work, eligible activity, reviews, disputes, taxes, or settlement. Reserved funds cannot be withdrawn, refunded, or used elsewhere until they are released.

3. Campaign pauses and cancellations

Pausing, cancelling, deleting, or changing a campaign does not erase obligations already accepted or completed. We first retain amounts reasonably needed for creator earnings, pending clicks or views, completed deliverables, disputes, reversals, and other campaign liabilities.

Once those amounts can be determined, eligible unused campaign funding may be released to the business’s available CollabLovin wallet balance. Successive releases may occur if activity or a review remains pending when a campaign is first cancelled.

4. When a payment may be eligible for refund

We will review a request where, for example:

  • a payment was duplicated or the wallet was credited incorrectly;
  • a verified payment was charged but the corresponding wallet credit was not provided;
  • unused, available wallet funds remain after all obligations and reviews are complete;
  • the Services were not supplied as agreed and a refund is required by applicable law; or
  • we otherwise agree in writing that a refund is appropriate.

Eligibility depends on the transaction record, the source and status of the funds, campaign commitments, prior use, and legal requirements. Approval is not automatic unless the law requires it.

5. Amounts generally not refundable

Except where required by law, we generally cannot refund:

  • creator earnings already accrued, approved, credited, paid, or released;
  • funds tied to completed work or eligible measured activity;
  • amounts reserved for a pending review, dispute, chargeback, or settlement;
  • taxes, payment-provider charges, or third-party fees that cannot be recovered; or
  • promotional, bonus, test, or non-cash credits.

6. Failed, pending, or duplicate payments

A failed or cancelled checkout should not credit the wallet. Your bank or payment provider may nevertheless show a temporary hold; its release timing is controlled by that provider. If a completed payment is missing from your wallet or appears twice, send us the provider reference and the CollabLovin transaction reference so we can verify it. Never send a full card number, PIN, password, or OTP.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@collablovin.com from the address associated with the account. Include the business name, transaction and campaign references, amount, payment date, reason for the request, and any redacted supporting evidence. We may ask an authorised account owner to confirm the request and may request reasonable identity or payment verification.

8. Review, approval, and processing

We review the wallet ledger, payment-provider status, campaign commitments, and related disputes before deciding a request. If a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be sent to the original payment method where technically possible. We may use another lawful method after verifying ownership if the original method is unavailable.

We will tell you the outcome and any approved amount. Processing time after approval depends on the payment method, bank, provider, compliance checks, and applicable law. Currency conversion or provider charges may affect the amount displayed by your bank.

9. Creator earnings and corrections

Campaign cancellation does not remove creator earnings already earned under accepted campaign terms. We may withhold or correct a payment that is pending review, was calculated in error, resulted from duplicate or invalid activity, or is affected by fraud, chargeback, sanctions, tax, or another legal requirement. We do not reverse settled creator earnings merely because campaign results did not meet a business’s expectations.

10. Legal rights, disputes, and contact

Nothing in this policy limits refund, cancellation, chargeback, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us first where practical so we can investigate. An unsupported chargeback may delay resolution while the provider reviews the same payment.

For a refund request or billing grievance, email support@collablovin.com. We may update this policy as payment methods, the Services, or legal requirements change; the effective date identifies the latest version.
